SolarFX Window Films, headquartered in Excelsior Springs, Mo., is bringing energy to the window film industry. After much research, company officials say they found "quite a large amount of tinters in the U.S. consume large quantities of energy drinks during their day." So the company developed energy drinks made specifically for tinters. The 8.4-ounce energy drinks are available in regular and sugar-free options. They are also available for resale to tinters' customers.

St. Paul, Minn.-based 3M Company has released a new architectural film, Thinsulate. According to the company, the product helps provide increased insulation performance similar to upgrading single-pane to double-pane and double-pane to triple-pane windows. Its heat rejection helps provide comfort and energy savings in summer months, and it has a high visible light transmission with a neutral appearance, helping maintain a building's existing appearance. The product comes with a warranty from 3M.

Orafol has released a new wrapping film that produces multi-color effects. Part of its Shift Effect line, the shade shifting occurs as the viewer's angle of sight changes. The product has a three-year durability, according to the company, and is 4.25 millimeters thick. It is available in 50-, 25-and 10-yard rolls with a width of 60 inches.
